"Mobile tech is still too limited to overtake desktop/laptop functions entirely and it almost has to remain that way -- reading and typing on mobile devices is difficult and cumbersome. As great as many mobile apps can be, they are still mostly limited to single-use functions (i.e. gaming or picture sharing). Mobile is not made for rich content and that will probably allow Web 2.0 companies to maintain a powerful presence for quite some time. Plus, I just cannot believe that the really smart, innovative, and relatively young people at Facebook and Google will just allow their businesses to fall by the wayside."
